ENCAUSTIC ART SUPPLIES:
Encaustic Art is a brand range/product line that started in 1987 in the UK' It consists of specially formulated molten coloured wax , heated tools, and other materials. This fascinating & versatile art activity can be a hobby, a craft, a therapy, relaxation, a leisure art, or a fine art - it all depends on you. There are many approaches to encaustic work, but heat needs to be involved to make sense of the term encaustic (to burn in). So whether you are using the special ecaustic at Iron, stylus, hair dryer or anything that will melt the wax, you can get a many number of different results using the different heat sources as well as different techniques.
