I have been crafting since July 1994, but as is often the case with crafters on the lookout for a new product, I had an idea and just needed to find the main ingredient. After 4 months of relentless searching I found it, and Koolaz Kool Ties were born...

Each Koolaz Kool Tie contains a special crystal in a pocket in the centre. You simply soak the tie in water for about 10 minutes, then remove from the water and dry the material, either with a towel or by hanging it out in the sun. Once the material is dry, simply tie it around your neck or head and you will have INSTANT COOLING RELIEF. Fantastic for hot summer days, migraine sufferers, those of us who feel the heat, sportspeople, hikers... the list is endless.

I work with only 100% cotton or a cotton rich/polyester blend. The Kool Tie is available in a large variety of plain colours, floral patterns and prints with an African theme. The Kool Tie comes in 3 sizes: Small (35cm), Medium (40cm) and Large (50cm). They are priced at R30 each, excluding postage.
